Anti wrinkle injections using Botox®/Azzalure® are fast becoming a popular treatment nationwide and at The Face Clinic we offer a wide range of treatments offering a fresh natural look.
At the initial consultation we discuss the outcomes required and those achievable. The effect achievable varies between no movement and a fresh natural look. We often start with a conservative dose and review the effects after 10 days. At that stage we offer a free top up if the client requires less movement in a specific area. It is preferable to add a free top up at the 2 week stage than add more than required initially.
The most common areas to treat include wrinkles of the forehead, between the eyes (glabellar region) and around the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet). At The Face Clinic we are aiming to achieve subtle but effective results. With this in mind, we invite our patients back after two weeks for a reassessment and if required or desired we will administer additional product.
Our clinics are based in Blessington and Monasterevin.
This is a concern many of our patients have. These are the lines that appear at the corners of our eyes and extend down the face. Many believe the eye area to be the most obvious sites for ageing.
The Glabella is the area between your brows. Over time some may find vertical and horizontal lines becoming prominent. The use of anti-wrinkle injections can not only relax the muscle to stop you overworking that area, it can also reduce the appearance of that static groove.
Anti-wrinkle injections can be used to raise a drooping or flat brow, introducing the solution to key points, relaxing the muscles that tend to drag our brows downwards.
The forehead is an area that we tend to get both expressive and static lines. The use of anti-wrinkle injections relaxes the area to stop over-expression and to relax these lines, giving a much more youthful appearance.
Marionette lines are the lines / folds which start at the mouth corners and go downwards ending at the jawline. They become more obvious with age and can make you look sad or “down in the mouth”.
